Where to start?

I don't even know where to start with this post. (Maybe the kids - Nick, Boo and Piecey - in the cage says enough??) Let's see, it has been over a month since my last post. SO much has changed. We moved, enough said. It's definitely a challenge moving with two toddlers in tow. Thank God for my mother who came to stay with us for 2 weeks. If not for her, we would not have had anything in boxes. She watched the kids while I cleaned, packed, and organized. She is truly a saint. You are probably asking, "why did they move?". Although we loved our old house, we wanted a little bit more yard, a quieter neighborhood and fewer stairs. We were fortunate to find a house in the neighborhood that offered us just that. We are currently working on a few updates (bathroom, upstairs floors) but as soon as those are finished, we will be settled in. We love love love our new house and the neighborhood. We've actually met about 20 of our neighbors already, most of whom have kids. We do miss our neighbors and friends, Bup and Tassy, and Malcolm, Stella and Lucas, but we are still in the hood and get to see them often.

Well, what else....the kids are growing and changing. Leah is walking! She took her first steps around her first birthday but lacked the confidence to really walk until about the last week. Now she joins us for walks around the block and protests if you carry her. She's incredibly independent and stubborn, much different from Nick. She can keep up with the boys for sure :).

Boo and Ju Ju. Boo was stationed at the water table until her tie dye dress began to bleed all over the place. FYI - Unwashed tie dye and water, not a great combo

Ahh, summer.

I have a few more updates, events that I still need to post, so stay tuned. With work, house projects and my high energy kids, it's last on my list. Hope everyone is enjoying summer as much as we are. Come see us at our new house when you have a chance.

Would love to see pics of the new house! Congratulations (on the purchase, and staying sane through the move - your mom sounds awesome).

And leah, look how much hair she has! With her little headband, she looks so 'little girl'.

Nick is as cute as ever! His expressions are the greatest.

Hope we get to see you all soon.
