"Hi Christmas Tree" is what Nick says every morning when we come down the stairs. He seems to really like the tree and only wants the lights on. He's also taken a liking to the "balls" which are glass and break very easily. He usually brings me at least one a day and requests that I put it back on. The nativity scene has also become a new favorite toy which provides hours of fun.
This year we were fortunate enough to have a late Thanksgiving so Nana and Babo were still in town when we decided it was time to get the tree. Our new tradition includes a visit to the tree farm where we were able to cut it down. Of course this was heaven for a 2 year old. Saws, tree haulers, peppermint candy canes, Babo, what more does he need? When asked which tree he wanted, he proceeded to walk about 1/4 mile to a very small tree on the edge. Good try buddy, maybe next year :).

So proud of the tree and the fact he's still helping Babo
