Weekend in Seattle

Chris's friend Meade, his wife Laurie, and their kids, Linnea and Aaron recently moved back after a two year visit to England so we decided to take a trip up to Seattle to see them, and watch a Duck game. We arrived late morning Saturday and from the minute we arrived, Nick and Aaron and Linnea and Leah were inseparable. Often when kids hang out, someone gets left out, personalities don't mesh or whatever. Not this time. The kids had so much fun with eachother. That afternoon, Leah and I took a nap while Nick, the twins and parents went to Aaron's soccer game. That evening we met up with the Stapletons for dinner prior to the game. Originally when we planned this trip we didn't know what time the game would be. Well, it ended up being a 730 game, much too late for Mr. Nick. The plan was for Nick and Chris to go together and Leah and I would hang out with Meade and the kids. So inevitably, I stayed home with the kids and Chris and Meade went to the game. It was such a fun weekend that on Sunday, the kids did not want to leave. We are looking for more fun visits to see our Seattle friends!
