Happy Halloween!

We absolutely love Halloween around the Zervis household. The decorations, the crisp fall air, leaves falling from the trees, and of course, the candy! Keeping with tradition, we had the Dudy's, Darlings, Peeks, Ferrignos, Lisa, and D and Mollie over for dinner. The kiddos were crazy all night with excitement to get on with the trick or treating. We made it about 2 full blocks before the 2 year olds gave up but Nick kept going. He's finally figured it out this year and didn't even stop to chit chat with the neighbors he so adores. He said his favorite candy was the gumdrops, however, I don't recall seeing any gumdrops. Whatever, as long as he's happy. It was a great evening with good food and good friends.

This kid is on a mission

She looks a little frightened of the wig

Our neighbors pumpkin, how cool is that!

Take 1: 2 bumblebees, a garden gnome, and a race car driver

I guess this was actually take 1. We were missing one of the bumblebees.

Earlier in the week. I just had to get a pic of this shirt.

Carving our pumpkins. They were excited until I cut the pumpkins open and told them they had to scoop out the insides. They quickly found another activity to do.

Love the Halloween pictures! Your racecar driver and bumble bee are entirely too cute. :)

Funny. Same thing happened with our pumpkin carving experience. Van helped draw the face, but once he saw the 'ewey, gooey inside', he spent the rest of the pumpkin carving time riding his bike/cars.
