Christmas this year was a whirlwind as usual but also a lot of fun. Friday the 23rd, my cousins from the Jim Falkner family all came over. It was so much fun. Jim and Sarah brought the twin boys, Jayson and Sheri brought new baby Stella, Jerin and Jarrett drove down from Seattle and stayed with us, Aunt Jo and Uncle Jim flew in from Spokane and Jailyn and her boys came down from Olympia. It was a great evening and the kids had a blast with the boys. The next morning we woke up and had our Christmas morning with the kids. Both Nick and Leah were thrilled with their "Santa" toys and of course wanted more. Later that day we went over to cousin Sloan and Emmy's house. More presents, lots of playtime and a nice evening. We did our usual late night drive to Spokane, opened presents with my family in the morning and had all of my mom's family over later that day. Tons of fun but definitely exhausting. Although we are SO lucky to have so many wonderful people around at Christmas time. Every year gets more and more fun. Leah's favorite gifts were her Barbie car which included her new Barbie "Barbs" and her Barbie horse which came with "Jen". Now Barbs and Jen are a daily part of our lives. Nick didn't really have a favorite but enjoyed playing with his new trio blocks. The sit and spin was also a hit. We feel so blessed and fortunate to have had such a wonderful Christmas, it was pretty great!
