Mt Hood - Ski Week

We were honored when our friend's Mark and Karen asked us to be their daughter Marie's godparents and were even more excited when we found out that meant we were able to spend a whole weekend with their family up at Mt Hood skiing, playing, and laughing. We went up late Friday night after Nick's Winter Festival. Saturday morning we went skiing up at meadows with all the crew, grandparents, uncles, and kiddos. It was so much fun. The kids loved skiing with Jackson and Marie. Leah was a natural her first time up and Nick is always improving. It was such a great weekend. On Sunday, we moved to a condo in Government Camp and Chris's mom and aunt Mary came up to visit. We took the kids skiing Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. It was such a great opportunity to get the kids up and running. By Wednesday, they were doing really well. It's so great to think they will be able to join us someday. Definitely looking forward to that.

Yep, that was the best picture. Impossible to get us all smiling!

First day skiing was awesome!
